Attachment of products using two layer technique
Berry Forest Bouquet Recipe
- Bamboo sticks
- Rubber bands
- Hot glue
- Pruning shears
- Crepe paper
1. Attachment of products using bamboo sticks
Attach all products, except for blueberries, to the bamboo skewers.
Secure all the products, except for the blueberries.
Binding of the bouquet
1. Binding of the products
Bind the bouquet starting with the heaviest and the largest products. In this case apples. Hold them one next to the other, and secure them using rubber bands.
Continue this step by adding other products and tightly securing them with the rubber band.
2. Attachment of herbs
Attach the herbs to the bamboo skewers. Wrap parsley’s stem to the skewer using florist tape.
3. Incorporating herbs
Insert the skewers with herbs in the nooks and crannies between the fruit and secure them using rubber band. Keep at least 5-8 skewers with parsley for the finishing of the bouquet.
Fill in all the empty spaces between the ingredients using herbs or kumquats.
If the stems of parsley are long, you can simply incorporate them in the nooks and crannies, without having to first attach them to the skewers.
4. Attachment of blueberries
Insert a toothpick into orange.
Leave a small part of the toothpick sticking out of the orange to insert into a blueberry without puncturing both sides of it.
5. Filling in empty spaces
Once all the products are attached and secured, add parsley to the outter edges and empty spaces of the bouquet.
Secure it using rubber band. Using this technique, fill in all the empty spaces so the bouquet will look fuller.
Wrapping of the bouquet
1. Securing of the stem of the bouquet
Wrap the bottom of the skewers with florist tape, until you can hold the stem up firmly and comfortably.
2. Wrapping in paper
Prepare a sheet of decorative paper. Fold one corner of the paper. Lay the bouquet on the folded corner.
Fold the paper from one side and secure it. Fold the other side and secure it as well.
3. Wrapping of the stem
Wrap the stem with a ribbon and make a bow.
4. Securing the paper
Secure the loose edges of the paper around the bouquet using hot glue.
